4dancers runs banner ads on the site to help defray the costs associated with writing, producing and marketing the blog.

In the interest of transparency, I would like 4dancers readers to know that we sometimes do utilize blog posts in conjunction with advertising. That said, we do so in order to bring you more information about the company and/or product so that you can make an informed decision as to whether or not it is something you are interested in.

These posts are not advertorials. 4dancers develops the questions and/or content, and if a product is something we feel is unsatisfactory, we will send it back and pass on posting it on the site. We cannot “endorse” ads, but we do make an effort to put forth quality products as much as we are able.

Also, please note that all reviews posted on the site are impartial, and even if the product post is also an advertiser, it will not influence the review.

We will also sometimes tweet about an advertiser or post about them on Facebook. When we do, we will run #ad with the post–both to let you know, and to be in compliance with current regulations for web-based advertising.

We have some Google ads on our site–we do not control the content of those text links, so please make sure you research them carefully. You can identify them because they are blue text links. Their content will depend upon your surfing patterns, as they are tailored to the individual viewer. Please do your homework and research any product or service that you see here–we are not able to directly endorse them.

4dancers has a content partnership with The Huffington Post. We also are often involved with media sponsorships for a variety of dance-related events in Chicago and beyond.

Last, but not least, we will sometimes put links to Human Kinetics publications within our posts or in the sidebar of the site. These are good resources for those in dance, and 4dancers does get a small affiliate “kickback” when you click through from our site and purchase them. We are also members of the Amazon affiliate program. If you do click on these and buy–thanks for supporting us!

You can also feel safe–4dancers does not sell or share your information with other parties–with the exception of our partner site, Dance Advantage.

If you have any questions about our content or advertising, please don’t hesitate to get in touch at info (at) 4dancers (dot) org

If you have an injury, medical issue or health problem, 4dancers recommends you see a healthcare professional for expert care as soon as possible. Written advice or information in the form of blog posts is never an acceptable substitute for proper medical diagnosis, advice and treatment.

4dancers is unable to diagnose, treat or suggest any course of action for anyone, for any reason regarding medical care, injury or accident.
